This Is No Banana

Oh, what a to do to die today at a minute or two to two,
A thing distinctly hard to say and harder still to do,
We'll beat a tattoo at twenty to two,
With a ra-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-too,
And the dragon will come when he hears the drum,
At a minute or two to two today,
At a minute or two to two.

That's always been my favorite tongue twister. I love how in so few lines it builds such great suspense, I love the rhythm and the way it just feel so awesome to say, and it has a dragon which makes anything better, obviously.
Now I'm picturing an ice cream cone with a dragon on top. So maybe they make everything better -except- ice cream. Yahhh. There always has to be an exception. I think that's in the constitution somewhere. Or maybe Einstein's rules of physics, or the laws of thermodynamics. It's somewhere in something important.
Like this blog. It's on this blog. That's an extremely prestigious place.

So I was skipping around town today looking for a yellow umbrella, I heard that we're supposed to get freezing rain within the next couple days and thought it'd be totally sweet if I could go out in the freezing rain with my umbrella, and the rain would freeze on the umbrella and I'd have an ice-brella! However, I could not find a yellow umbrella of the appropriate strength.

Then someone asked me if the mum eating toes were cute and I completely forgot what I was thinking. Oh well. So now I must leave you.
Goodbye. Oh, and by the way. Lollipops.

.

Today someone was telling me about how caffeine has a calming affect on ADHD people.
Too much caffeine puts me to sleep. Hah. Hahaha. Ha. Squirrel.

  1. It's a little known fact that dragons crave lollipops. Entire villages in the Old World were decimated by dragons looking for this "sugar on a stick" confectionery. Unfortunately for them, the dragons burned down the very lollipop factories which they depended upon and shortly thereafter they went extinct. Just a coincidence? I think not....I wonder though if any dragons escaped to Munchkinland.

    1. It just so happens that the most evil of dragons actually crave black licorice. They are, in fact, the only reason black licorice is still made (everyone else hates it). It used to be a well known fact, thus people bought black licorice just in case a dragon came by, so they could give it to the dragon and save themselves. Unfortunately, the king of the evil dragons once ate so much of it, he got a stomach ache and banned it from all dragons, which caused the rest of the evil dragons to have to go without it, which made them very angry and they attacked many villages and eventually they fled to Mars, which they heard was a candy manufacturer. Unfortunately they went to the planet not the candy factory. But they were stuck there and now enjoy themselves by evading all cameras on mars rovers.

    2. We really should warn NASA...what if one of those pesky evil things catches a ride back one day and then all fire and brimstone is going to break loose again!..........I just got off the phone with NASA. The cleaning lady said she'll pass on my warning to the appropriate authorities. Whew! The Earth shall be safe once again. It's a good thing you mentioned this, Stormy!
